Julie Moore and Sara Powell,representing the United Methodist Women of Hartwell First United Methodist Church, presenting a check for $2000 to Rev. Eddie Simmons, chair of the board for HIM (Hart Interdenominational Ministries). In October 2016 with church and community support, the UMW held a fund-raiser using SERRV, a fair-trade marketer, with bazaar and catalog sales. Many thanks to all who participated and especially to Luanne Burgess, who shouldered most of the work.
