At Hartwell First our hearts and minds revolve around our worship experiences. We offer a variety of services in the hope of reaching the most people. Our ministers’ sermons are Bible-oriented with the messages being relevant to today’s world. The doors are open to all so that they may be inspired to do God’s work by serving others.

Three types of services are offered:

Traditional Services

9:00 AM — Sanctuary (45 minutes) — This is an abbreviated service.
11:00 AM — Sanctuary (1 hr) — This service features a chancel choir, piano and organ music. It is a more traditional service with complete liturgy.

Contemporary Service

10:00 AM — Fellowship Hall (1 hr) — This is a celebration service consisting of worship music performed by our praise band. Dress is more casual. Sermons are sometimes supplemented by video clips. Technology is a vital part of the service which is recorded for Podcast on our website.

BLASTOFF Worship Service for Children

BLASTOFF is a worship service for 2nd – 5th graders.  The kids enjoy games, skits, worship music, and a sermon that is geared 100% for them.  BLASTOFF meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10:45 in the Assembly Room downstairs in the Children’s Department.  Parents are invited and encouraged to come and worship with their children.

Children’s Church is offered to those kids 4-years- old through 1st grade during the Contemporary and 11:00 service.  All children in this age group go to the Sanctuary where they listen to the children’s message and then are dismissed downstairs for Children’s Church.
