Rev. Troy Ayers and 30 young adults traveled to Brunswick for the 2nd year. They conducted the exterior remodeling of a home for a young, single mom. They installed vinyl siding, built new front and rear porches, and did roof repair. Despite the heat index 0f 120 degrees the group did an amazing job as they performed the work of Christ by serving our fellow man.
Ryan Lee
Hartwell First would like to welcome Ryan Lee, a native of Johnson city, Tennessee as he fulfills the vacancy left by Jeremy Green. Ryan attended East Tenn. State University where he was majoring in psychology.
This is his first full time position in a church. He and Sam Dawkins interned at the same church in Conyers.
Ryan stated,”I am really excited to see what God is able to do. There’s already an incredible support system in place. I’m ready to get started.”
Ryan is looking for good, affordable housing in the area. If you know of a place, please call the church office with that info.
The high school youth and young adult ministries are returning to Brunswick for our mission trip this year. We will be repairing and refurbishing homes for underprivileged families. The dates are June 20-27 and the cost is $200.00.
