Check out the latest news for children and for Stand Youth Ministry.

1.  Parents – Tuesday night (tomorrow) is the Jeffrey Dean seminar at Cateechee at 7:00.  This is for parents.  The event is free and all parents are encouraged to attend.
2.  Diverge 2011 – Jeffrey Dean night for youth is this Wednesday at the Swails Center at Emmanuel!  This event will take the place of our regularly scheduled Wed night activities and will be a great night for the youth.  Entertainment includes SOC, popular hip-hop band and The Awakening.  The bus will leave the gym parking lot PROMPTLY at 6:00.  The doors open up at 6:30 and the program begins at 6:50.  We don’t want to be late, so please be there a few minutes early so we can leave at 6:00.  Small group leaders will be attending with the kids but any parent is welcome to go as well.  This is a free event.
3.  Late night event for High School – On Thursday, March 17th there will be a late night for the high school youth.  Meet at the gym at 9:00 p.m.  Remember – no school on Friday!  Watch for more details on ending time and what to bring.  Destination – you’ll have to come and find out!
4.  MS and HS Hosting Peachtree UMC youth – Don’t forget that we are hosting youth from Peacthree UMC on Saturday and Sunday, March 19th – 20th.  There will be an ice cream social in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday evening at 7:45 and lunch after church on Sunday in the FH.  All youth are invited to come meet and hang out with the kids from Peachtree UMC.  Parents – if you can help with the either of these activities, please let Laura Lasseter know.

It is time to start collecting information from our seniors for the graduation banquet that will be held on Wednesday, May 11th.  I need to get an accurate list of our seniors.  If you could please email the full name of your senior, I would appreciate it.  We also need 10-15 pictures for each senior.  If you have digital pictures, that is awesome and they can be emailed to me.  If you have prints, please put them in an envelope with the student’s name on it and bring them to me at the church office.  ALL PICTURES WILL BE RETURNED! More information on the banquet and deadlines will be sent to you later, but if you can start gathering the                                                            pictures, that would be great.
