Be on the lookout for a new face at HFUMC.

It’s Ben Davis and he’s our new Youth Director and Assistant to the Minister. A native of Milledgeville,Ga, he graduated from GC&SU. Living in Marietta, Ben will be moving to the “O’Neil” house.

Ben has a love for theater (he majored in Theater and English). He loves outdoor activities such as swimming and camping.So I guess he will love Lake Hartwell.

Ben has a great enthusiasm for working with the youth. He hopes to increase the present program in numbers and in size of spiritual development.Ben says, “Words cannot express how I feel about this chapter in my life and what God has in store for all of us at HFUMC.”

So when you see Ben, give him a Hartwell “Howdy!”

Make plans to meet at First Baptist in the sanctuary.

It will be held at Cornerstone with their youth, First Baptist, and Hartwell First. The party is from 6:15 – 8:00. Kids need to eat before they come to the party.

Plan to come because this will be a great night with friends.

End of School Bash

5-7 PM at the lake lot

All youth and their families are invited for a cookout, fellowship and fun!

On Wed., April 13th, youth will meet at the lake lot (combined MS & HS) from 6:15 – 7:15.  There will be a bus that leaves the church at 6:00 to take kids to the lake lot.  However, all kids need to be picked up at the lake lot.  The bus will NOT bring kids back.  High School kids are welcome to stay at the lake lot past 7:15 – there will be supervision. The Middle School lock in will be on Friday, April 15th.  Parents are needed to help with this night.  We need parents who can spend the night as well as parents who can help with activities throughout the evening.  Please let Marcie know if you can help and if your child plans on attending.
