I will send you an email questionnaire about skills to complete and return to me. Also, interested volunteers please read the liability form here which Cindy Pace has attached to the website. You may download, print, and sign the form or wait until our Mission Team Meeting on June 11 to sign the form then. I will bring copies of the form to that meeting for anyone who prefers not to download and print the form. But remember first to contact me and complete the email skills questionnaire (this week)!
Our Mission Team will have a brief meeting on Sunday, July 10 at 11:00 AM following the Contemporary Service in the Fellowship Hall. If any mission volunteers are planning to attend the Traditional Service at that time, please let me know, and I will meet you at 10:45 AM in the lobby outside the Fellowship Hall.
Many thanks for your continued support of and interest in our church missions!

On June 25 during the 4th Extravaganza, please drop by the First United Methodist Booth and purchase a snow cone for $1.00. All proceeds will go toward our Ringgold tornado relief fund.

So come cool off for a good cause.

Thanks to the generosity of our congregation, $2,083 worth of roofing supplies are being delivered to Ringgold, GA. this week to help repair damaged roofs of tornado victims. Paid for through HFUMC’s Missions Fund, the roofing materials (including 2700 square feet of shingles, 3000 square feet of tar paper, and three buckets of roofing nails) are being delivered by a building supply store near Ringgold. Members of the Ringgold United Methodist Church will assure that these materials are received and distributed to roofing projects currently underway in Ringgold.
We will continue to provide relief to disaster victims in the months to come, and would appreciate your continued support by donating to the Missions Fund (checks to HFUMC “for” Missions) or volunteering for our future mission trips. Anyone interested in volunteering for the July 16-17 Mission Trip to Ringgold, please email me at cbpace@gmail.com or call 706-436-2630. Thanks again for your support!
Ringgold does not have the ability to accept donations from our original lists of clothing, supplies, etc. We are in the process of monetary donations designated to Missions Fund. They have set up a Warehouse Wish List of building supplies which can be viewed here.
Wanting to give business to local merchants, we discovered that most of the items are very heavy and difficult to transport.
We now ask you to prayerfully donate to our church missions account. Please make out check to HFUMC ‘for” missions.
A mission trip to the area is scheduled for July 16-17. If you are interested in this trip or any future trips, please contact Charles Pace cbpace@gmail.com or 706-436-2630.
