Monday, December 5 is the deadline for making a reservation for the Dec. 12th Christmas Dinner. See Dell in the church office. Cost is 12.00 per person.

Haleigh Lewis is chairing our annual Second Helping Dinner on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011 from 4:30-7:00 PM.

This mission project helps bring people in our community together in fellowship and food. To achieve this goal we ask that you prayerfully consider donating some of the items below, making a monetary donation, or giving of your time in serving that evening. Serving times are 4Pm-6PM and 6PM-8PM. You can call the church office at 376-3164 or email dskelton@hartwellfumc.com and let us know how you will be be able to help.

·    500 Sets of Prepackaged Silverware
·    500 16oz Solo Cups
·    1ooo Rectangle Sectional Styrofoam Plates (Hefty brand)
·    500 Sectional To-Go plates (Hefty brand)
* Available at a wholesale shopping club
·    500 Small Dessert Plates (Hefty brand)

Pound cakes and cookies

·    Apples
·    Oranges

The trustees decided to hold a silent auction to benefit the Open Doors Fund.

Place your bid in an envelope and drop in the collection plate. Or bring a sealed bid to the church.Last day to accept bids is November 27.
