On Sunday, October 28th, we will have our 9, 10, and 11 o’clock services led by Reverend Ann Mann from Due West UMC in Marietta, GA.
We know Reverend Ann from her time serving in the Savannah Valley Circuit. She is now at Due West UMC in Marietta, GA.
At 11am, we will have our Family Day Fall Festival in the Gym followed by a
Trunk or Treat at 12:15pm in the parking lot near the gym.
A Chili Cook-Off will follow at the Fellowship Hall.
On Monday, October 29th at 5:15pm, we will have Supper with Rolling Chefs in the Fellowship Hall followed by Reverend Andrew Chappell and the Youth Band at 6:30pm. Menus and tickets will be available soon.
Reverend Andrew is a former intern of Hartwell First from many years ago and is now an Associate Pastor at Northbrook UMC in Roswell, GA.
On Tuesday, October 30th at 5:30pm, we will have a covered dish supper in the Fellowship Hall followed by Dr. Don Wyrtzen at 6:30pm.
Dr. Wyrtzen is a leading musician and statesman in Christian Music from Mansfield, Texas. He is a poet of the Piano.
On Wednesday, October 31st from 6-8pm, we will have fun Games, Prizes, and more at our Annual Boo Bash. Hotdogs, chips, and drinks will be served by HFUMC.
Everyone is invited for a fun-filled time with Swings, A ride for the little ones, Basketball Toss, Bouncy Houses, and Face Painting.

Mission Trip Summer 2019
There will be a mission trip to Spirit Lake Ministry in North Dakota on June 15-21st, 2019.
Informational Meeting will be held for anyone interested in going on
Sunday, October 14th at 11:00am and 12:00pm
in the Joyful room (1st floor of Education Building)
and Wednesday, October 17th at 7:00pm in the Choir Room.
Anyone interested in attending should attend the meeting and pick up an application.

This event assists those in need in the community with needed resources and info available through local county agencies and support groups.
If you need a hand or can lend a hand, please come to this fun and free event on Saturday, October 6th from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Bell Family YMCA.
